A Collect for Saint Paul’s Church & School
Almighty God, who didst call thy holy Apostle Paul to carry the Gospel of Christ unto the Gentiles and to enlighten all nations with thy truth; Grant that we, who bear his name at this church and school, may follow his godly example in proclaiming thy saving health here for generations to come. Build us upon the sure foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, that we may at length attain the crown of glory that fadeth not away; through the same Jesus Christ our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Ghost, ever one God, world without end. Amen.
A Collect for the Friends of Saint Paul’s Church & School
Almighty God, who didst call thy holy Apostle Paul to bear the light of Christ unto the Gentiles and to plant thy Church in distant lands; Mercifully behold thy servants in Melbourne, Florida who labor to raise a parish and school in his honored name to thy great glory, and grant that we who, though far off, are knit to them in our Lord Jesus Christ. Build us all, both near and far, upon the one foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone, that we all may attain the crown of glory that fadeth not away; through the same Jesus Christ our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Ghost, ever one God, world without end.
